In Spring 2018, I volunteered to work in the RC Diocese of East Anglia (RCDEA) Archives. It had been dormant for 2 years as the volunteers had retired. I was asked to establish an on-line presence and, in time, develop it to address the full holdings. I chose to use AtoM for this purpose and am steadily working my way through our holdings. I have a Diploma in Records and Information Management from the University of Liverpool and have had direct experience in this field when managing a business archive as a Departmental Records Officer for a UK Government Agency.

From the 2019 RCDEA Diocesan Yearbook, my wife and I are named the Diocese Archivists, presumably because the Bishop has determined that we are doing the job!
