Her scholarship has been published in the Journal for Cinema and Media Studies, Film Quarterly, Reception Studies, and in various collections. She earned a masters in film/photography preservation and collections management at Toronto Metropolitan University, and fulfilled her degree residency at the Vulnerable Media Lab in Kingston, Ontario by helping to restore and preserve documentaries by Afro-Cuban filmmaker Sara Gómez under the auspices of Archive/Counterarchive Canada. She has recently returned to Seattle after an audiovisual archving internship at the Smithsonian Institute’s Archives of American Art.&lt;/div&gt;</summary>
