New page

Acting as the AtoM focal for the Pacific Northwest Railroad Archive, I have previous experience managing large database systems for a major aerospace company in the Seattle area from which I'm now retired.
I have no previous experience with LINUX based systems. Limited coding experience in the 70's and 80's in ALGOL, COBOL and BASIC. (yes, I have typed punch cards).

Pacific Northwest Railroad Archive currently has some 70,000 records relating to railroad history in AtoM with probably another million to go. Utilization has been primarily through the user interface with limited troubleshooting via the command line.
