We're excited to announce the first-ever AtoM Camp, cohosted by the Simon Fraser University Archives and Artefactual! Inspired by similar events like Hydra Camp, Islandora Camp and Fedora Camp, AtoM Camp is intended to provide a space for anyone interested in or currently using AtoM to come together, learn about the platform from other users, and share their experiences.

Dates & Location
March 22-24, 2017 - Harbour Centre at Simon Fraser University
Harbour Centre is located in downtown Vancouver, BC and is part of SFU's Vancouver campus. It's convenient to transit and is within easy walking distance of many hotels, restaurants, and Vancouver's historic Gastown neighbourhood.
Camp Counsellors
At all of the camps that Artefactual hosts, we seek to provide a diversity of experience with the software. Supplementing members of the Artefactual crew will be counsellors who have extensive experience with AtoM as users and administrators. Sit tight for counsellor announcements!
Schedule
The schedule is a work in progress. Depending on the make-up of the campers, sessions might range from AtoM 101 for absolute beginners to command line tools to systems administration. We look forward to welcoming campers with a wide range of experience with AtoM!
Day One
On the morning of Day One we'll ensure that everyone is comfortable with AtoM, whether they're archivists, developers, or systems administrators.
The afternoon of Day One will be spent looking into some specific AtoM topics. This may be something like import/export for archivists, theme development for developers, or infrastructure for sysadmins. During registration, campers will be given the opportunity to suggest topics of interest.
Evening social event: small sign-up group dinners
Day Two
On Day Two, both the morning and afternoon will be spent looking at specific AtoM topics, again decided by campers.
Evening social event: big group dinner
Day Three
Depending on camper interest, Day Three might take the shape of an unconference, where attendees can propose topics to discuss. It could also be a continuation of the previous two days. It's up to you!
Note: Day Three will end early to accommodate travel schedules.
