AtoM Wiki Terms of Service
Thank you for your interest in creating an AtoM account and contributing to the AtoM wiki! Here are a few reminders before you get started.

You don't need a wiki account to work with AtoM
All resources available on the AtoM wiki are already publicly visible. The AtoM application can be download as a tarball from our Downloads page, or from our GitHub code repository, and all of our documentation is also freely available via the website.
This means you do not need a wiki account just to use AtoM. There are no hidden resources that are only available to logged in users. The only reason you need to create an account is if you wish to contribute to the wiki - which you are welcome to do! There are some suggestions on what and where you can contribute below.
Code of Conduct
As contributors and maintainers of AtoM, we at Artefactual pledge to respect all people who contribute through reporting issues, posting feature requests, updating documentation and wiki resources, submitting pull requests or patches, and other activities, including participating in our User Forum.
We are committed to making participation in the AtoM project a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of level of experience, sex, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, ability, personal appearance, body size, race, age, or religion.
Examples of unacceptable behavior by participants include the use of sexual language or imagery, derogatory comments or personal attacks, trolling, public or private harassment, insults, or other unprofessional conduct.
Personal advertisements, spam, and hateful or abusive behavior/text may result in the suspension of your AtoM wiki account, and the removal of your contributions.
Project maintainers have the right and responsibility to remove, edit, or reject comments, commits, code, wiki edits, issues, Forum posts, and other contributions that are not aligned to this Code of Conduct. Project maintainers who do not follow the Code of Conduct may be removed from the project team.
If you feel you've encountered instances of abusive, harassing, or otherwise unacceptable behavior, please let us know.

Licensing
Please be aware that all content contributed to the AtoM wiki is being released under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License. You should review the terms of this license and understand that anything posted here may be used by others under the terms of the CC-BY-SA 4.0 license - by contributing to the AtoM wiki, you are agreeing to release your contributions under the same license.
If you are not comfortable with the open license we use, please do not contribute! Thank you for your understanding.
Style guide
We have prepared a Style guide for new wiki contributors to help ensure that our wiki remains well organized and consistent. If you intend to contribute to the wiki, 'please review this page prior to adding new content, and follow the guidelines laid out there. If you have any questions about the guidelines, you can let us know and we will do our best to respond.
Contribution ideas
Not sure where you can start contributing? Here are a few ideas:
- Add your institution's AtoM instance to our Users page!
- If you have created your own documentation, style guide, installation script, or other resource, consider adding it to the Community resources
- Tell us about your AtoM site launch, migration project, or other successful endeavors on the Success stories page
- We've created an FAQ section but still haven't had time to populate it - help us fill it out!
