Create
A logged-in User can create a deaccession record from an existing accession record and save it
- Required fields have an orange asterisk
- Click on deaccession button in the view accession record screen and user is directed to edit deaccession record screen
- Enter Deaccession number
- Select Scope from drop-down list, options are "whole" or "part"
- Date of deaccession is automatically populated with current day's date, but can be edited using data field or GUI calendar
- Data input into free text fields for Description, Extent and Reason.
- Click Save button and user is directed to view accession record screen.
- At bottom of accession record the Deaccession area has been added with a hyperlink to the deaccession record.
Read
A logged-in User can read a deaccession record. Public users should NOT be able to access any accession or deaccession data.
- In the view accession record screen, click on deaccession number hyperlink
- View deaccession record
- User can read or click hyperlink on the related accession record number
- User can read deaccession number, scope, date, description, extent and reason.
- User can choose to edit or delete the deaccession record.
- Click delete deaccession record and user is directed to a screen asking confirmation to delete specific deaccession record.
- Click on edit and user is directed to edit deaccession record screen.
Edit
A logged-in User can edit a deaccession record
- Click on Edit button at the bottom of the view deaccession record screen and user is directed to edit deaccession record screen.
- All data fields can be edited: deaccession number, scope, date, description, extent and reason.
- Click on Save button at the bottom of the edit deaccession record screen and user is directed to view accession record screen.
