Sandra Cristina Patrício da Silva graduated in History at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Coimbra in 2004, where she has also completed a Specialization in Information Science (Archives), in 2006. She has a Master of Science Information and Documentation at the University of Évora under the theme of Records Appraisal, in 2011. She is a doctoral student at the University of Lisbon, on information science, namely and informational science in Modern Age, that produced by Sines Municipality. Since 2005 she is responsible for the Sines Municipal Archives, and coordinates the Municipality informational system. Her activities areas are information management, educational programs and scientific research on local history and social history. She is developing a project on the history of a Portuguese city, Sines, and its relationship with commercial routes and slavery in Modern Age.
