Note

This is historical development documentation that was migrated from a now-defunct wiki. The content was first created on December 12, 2008, and last updated on December 18, 2008. The contents were migrated to the AtoM wiki in July 2015. Some changes have been made to the layout for greater legibility; otherwise the content is unchanged. Qualified DC Access and use area

Notes

In Simple DC, language and rights elements can be included in the Description area div.

  • Qualified DC adds a number of related elements and qualifiers to justify moving these to a separate div.

Language / Script of material

  • DC language element.
  • Use here for DC Qualified template; for DC Simple, move to Description area div (better manage screen real estate).
  • Maps to Qubit property::information_object_language and property::information_object_script.

Rights management

  • DC rights element.
  • Use here for DC Qualified template; for DC Simple, move to Description area div (better manage screen real estate).
  • Discrepancy between DC authorities for label: "Rights Management" (User Guide) and "Rights" (Element Set Version 1.1).
  • Content maps to 2 Qubit fields: information_object::access_conditions and information_object::reproduction_conditions.
